Had it not for her formidable presence in the Senate trial of $330 million ZTE-NBD hullabaloo, the tribunal would’ve been a real turn off and a squander of time for us, politics and corruption-staled Pinoys. Well, who would not enjoy Mirriam’s exceptional brainpower, death-defying lingo’, frown eyebrow, hoisted fist and native twang, ha? Her bravado is matchless and one of it’s kind. She's been supplying me with barrel of laughs esp this one down in the aftermath of Erap/Jose Pidal's plunder case.
As per today's hottest national issue, ready-to-die plaintiff JDV III, his “blood is thicker than water” Ex-House Speaker Dad JDV II, the “I am innocent in the project” but known golf buddies w/ its top bosses - Comelec X-Chair Benjie Abalos and the President’s equally (or even more) controversial “big man behind” F-G Mike Arroyo and the only “kidnapped” victim with mobile access, - the crying boy or smiling? whistle blower Jun Lozada all made their way in the boiling seat. W/o prejudice, the feisty Mirriam said:
As days goes by, we sees more finger-pointing and hears more naming of names over Media reports that "re-shocked" the nation and the people. More member of the prestigious parliament, too, came close in the popularity-making picture to “rescue“ and voice their takes. For that, I reckon her saying:
"Mirriam, Oh Madam-Senator Mirriam", No Matter WHAT and HOW your critics branded your eloquent madness in all of these, - we need someone like you in this highly-critical time.

i used to like miriam. until i realized the truth in the adage "there's a thin line separating genius from insanity". i guess she has crossed the line.
