And because I just pledge not to exercise my hiatus potential again, I resolve therefore to publish an old emo’ poem for some of you to ponder or to relate otherwise. Wish I could finish na someone's term paper (yep, AJ is also a ghostwriter) in between my nerve-racking job, so I could proceed with my impending TAGS and shades of gray posts this boiling month of March. The First time everI gazed into your eyes
I mirror a reflection of myself
& the Fear that dwells inside
haunt me -
When all of my heart,
You hold it through your hands
In darkest weather
& in deepest despair,
I witnessed your care - so rare
like a farmer uprooting a frail tree
He cling and thrust its core
to Earth’s soil firmly
You emerged too like a rainbow
looms o’er cloud of my dire sorrow
oh, a lovely token of new tomorrow
Such stubborn fondness
washes away my dreariness
suddenly,
my world’s not gloomy...
as it used to be
But we swim against great tide
it disjoint our spirits aside
akin to a frantic yell
awaking us from spell of our tale
Birds come & go, ..human so
when you flew back to your nest
I remain at rest - why?
"You are my wings, & I can’t fly" !
Till the day my hair’s grown gray
My sweet thought of yours
won’t go astray
For it is good to remember
a Friend I dear forever!

Hanep rin tong poem mo..panalo. Ako, nakakagawa ako poem pag deep din ang emotion pero pag natural lang, walang lumalabas sa isip eh hehe. Inspired ka nga Aj.
